Q. Just wanted to know your feedback on how do you think that roughly how much sales or hits have generated by doing this exercise of SEO which we are working on for the past some period on your website Kharidari.com? Do you think in practical and monetary terms that you have got some benefits or ROI?
Ankur Shah (Kharidari.com): Very hard to equate SEO effort in $$ terms..all i can say is that there are tons of searches made everyday on hot button keywords such as "gifts to india" and occassion specific keywrods like "rakhi" or "diwali" and based on my paid search experience, it is also true that if you are in top 2-3 even in paid search ads, people click on your site and take a look at stuff. But in a nutshell, yes, there's of course merit to what we are doing as for us that is the cheapest and one of the most effective marketing tool for new customers. My experience also suggests that search engines as marketing vehicle are much much much better than banner ads placed on portals. When someone searches "rakhi" the guy is serious, he wants to buy something and is not screwing around and hence conversion rate is fairly high.
Q. As we have recently started SEO work on your website UKFashionHouse.com and ShesJustGotToHaveIt.co.uk and submitted the first month Ranking Report. How did you find our Ranking Reports standard?

Q. Did you noticed more new visitors coming to your website after we have started SEO work on your websites? Did your online sales affected by this work?
Rob Bradley, Director (UKFashionHouse.com): We get a lot of visitors. To let you know, there has been a slight increase in activity from the Site, and small improvement on sale. With Customer Feedback saying they saw us through Google. The Stats (Website Statistics) from hosting show quite a few referrals from the domain. YES, I can also see the good work on the keyphrases. It has worked well in the time!
Q. How is the overall work going on? Are you getting proper work updates or not?
